The EB-5 visa for Immigrant Investors is a United States visa created by the Immigration Act of 1990. This visa provides a method of obtaining a green card for foreign nationals who invest money in the United States.
To obtain the visa, individuals must invest $1,000,000 (or at least $500,000 in a “Targeted Employment Area” – high unemployment or rural area), creating or preserving at least 10 jobs for U.S. workers excluding the investor and their immediate family.
The Process Phase I
- Investor’s Sustainability Evaluation (determination of eligibility for EB-5 investment)
- Guardian Investment Resources services and EB-5 Projects overview
- EB-5 Investor Consulting Agreement is signed between Guardian Investment Resources and Investor
- Due Diligence Services
- Guardian Investment Resources conducts due diligence investigation of up to 5 prospective EB-5 Projects that investor has interest in
The Process Phase II
- Investor analyses the comprehensive report on EB-5 Projects provided by Guardian Investment Resources and chooses one for investment
- Investor signs Subscription Agreement with Guardian Resources Investments
- Investor signs Subscription Agreement with Guardian Resources Investments
- Investor deposits USD 500,000 or USD 1,000,000 into the Escrow account
The Process Phase III
- Guardian Resources Investments Legal Officer and Investor prepare and file I-526 Immigration Petition to USCIS ts for visa and funds background check
- Guardian Resources Investment Business Development build Business Plan, Marketing Plan
- Investment Liaison arranges facility resources
- Documentation prepared per ICS requirements
